Free Debate Friday: How do you feel about the end of the Twilight Saga?

Hello and happy Friday! Today, many tweens, teens and moms will be sinking their teeth on the final installment of the Twilight Saga. Though it may seem it was only yesterday that Twilight invaded the silver screen bringing us Robsten, sparkly vampires, inappropriate thoughts about a certain werewolf and a new series of mommy porn, it’s actually been 4 years since the vampire saga was released. For many, this is a sad and exciting end to the best love story ever portrayed in film while others could care less. The end of the saga is the end of the second series of young adult books recently made into film, ending after the much loved Harry Potter series. As this often polarizing series ends, we at The What Blog?! want to know your thoughts:

How do you feel about the end of the Twilight Saga?

Did you go to the midnight screening or sit through the Twilight marathon or are you silently celebrating that it’s finally over? Or could you care less? Vote, and share you memories, what you liked, hated, or what creeped you out about this very popular series in the comments section below!

I’ll probably check it out, I’m not going to lie. I recognize it’s a piece of crap, but the movies are actually an improvement over the crappy books. And I never did finish Breaking Dawn (because I found the plot line absolutely appalling). But screw it, I’ll see the last movie. I won’t, however, watch it in the theater. I have my dignity, after all.

It is ‘Meh, it’s whatever.” for me. It is not something i am into but i go to Mid night release for Call of Duty, so i can not judge them. It is over but these people will find something new to gravitate towards. It is a never ending cycle so hoping and waiting for it to end is a lost cause.

I do find the double standard of women in their 40′s sweating over under 18 year old men unfair. When men did that, we are just creepers.

I feel you. We’ve all been there, done that with Call of Duty, Star Wars, LOTR, etc. And yes, after this, another movie will come out that will get the teens going again. I believe the author of the Twilight series already has one of her other books in the works.
